| hello guysour main server runs 2 mssql 2008 db.The default instance hosts a client company, whose network admin, disabled the default Administrators account and passworded the server.We enabled remote connections on the 2nd instance ( which is not the default ) but it refuses connections, we have tried everything possible, from enabling ports and opening firewalls, but we cant connect remotelyCould the security of the main instance affect other instances ?Ehi |
