Good morning,
I posed this question last week, but thought of another one.
I just purchased the Developer's Edition of SS 2008 and will be installing it on my Vista Home Premium laptop, and my Vista Small Business desktop.
First the laptop, which has SQL Server 2005 evaluation installed. I will be uninstalling this version because a recent re-install failed. Will SSRS in SS 2008 install on a Vista Home Premium laptop? For SS 2005, SSRS is not a selectable component during installation. Will Report Manager run on Home Premium?

Second, on the desktop, I have SS 2005 and all other components including SSRS and Report Manager up and running like a well oiled machine. Getting Report Manager required some prodding, but I was able to locate the necessary additional settings that were not documented by Microsoft, and got it going.
That said, once this evaluation period expires(three weeks), I will uninstall it, then install SQL Server 2008. I am wondering if any of the monkeying around with IIS feature settings, App pools, and other items that needed to be set to get Report Manager functional, will any of that cause issues with getting SSRS and Report Manager up?

Sorry if I had to post this question again, just trying to gather as much info as possible from the experts out there, and your responses and suggestions are appreciated.
