I'm a C#/ASP.NET programmer for a company who doesn't have a DBA :P. Thusly, myself and the 2 other programmers are forced into the DBA role. Some of the views our websites use are very complex and slow to query so I've been dealt the task of creating indexes. I've found a few articles on the internet and chapters in SQL books we have, but they seem to be a level of comprehension above what I have. Does anyone know of an article on indexing which is easy to understand for the layman? Thanks

No, you're never too old to Yak'n'Roll if you're too young to die.
