Hi I have Microsoft Sql Server 2005 and Sql Server Management Studio 2005 installed in my windows 7. But i need install a client, in i did download the Microsoft Sql Server 2008 Express. Before this, i installed the Web Platform Installed. When i execute the link for start the installation of Microsoft Sql Server 2008 Express i get the next error: quote:
SQL Server 2008 Express with Tools is incompatible with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Management Studio Express.
Need i uninstall the sql server management studio 2005 for this instalation works?Please help me, i don't have more ideas.Thanks |

| nope. you need to download sql 2005 management studio desktop component and install it or if you've cd with you for sql 2005 install workstation components from it------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SQL Server MVPhttp://visakhm.blogspot.com/ |

I can't install the Sql server 2005 express because is not supported with windows 7 . Then, i wanna install the Sql Server 2008 Express and i get the error that i described. |
