| I am new to sql . i have installed sql server 2008 enterprise edition (alla the features). when i am trying to deploy Adventure works 2008 DW sln it says build faills giving the following eroor.Error 1:Access to the path 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Tools\Samples\AdventureWorks 2008 Analysis Services Project\enterprise\bin\Adventure Works DW 2008.configsettings' is denied. 0 0 i Tested the connection. it is ok and connected. please help me. |

| The installation download for the AdventureWorks databases comes with installation instructions. You have to perform a few minor processes and change a couple of settings. I don't have the document handy now because I am in the office. But when I installed AdventureWorks, I followed the instructions and had no problems.Microsoft changed the methodology for installing/attaching the sample databases from previous versions. It is more tedious and error prone now, but if you follow the included instructions, you should be fine.______________________________________________Talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish. |
