| Hi Experts,i know that the in failover clusters, sql server services are manual as per my knowledge. but i heard from one of my sysadmin that those are automatic. can some one of you provide me supporting docs? and links?thanks in advance.ArnavEven you learn 1%, Learn it with 100% confidence. |

Here are the services.msc from a 2 node cluster I use as my test lab. I did not change any of the default startup types.

| Yes, and they are automatic in the Failover Cluster MMC. Is the fact that they are listed as manual not because they are being controled by the cluster service? |
