When I can see all deployed reports from my local machine, I can't even open the homepage link with a PC right next to me, using my same Windows login. Same domain.

I'm sure it's not a network / intranet policy. I need to change the security on the site, or ReportServer? Can't find it. I have users set up as Browsers on Reports Manager, and myself as System Admin. It's all Windows Credentials.

Firstly, how do I allow myself to view from another machine?

Thanks

What operating system is your local machine?

I deeply wish it could be ANYTHING ELSE - Mac OS X Snow Leopard, Solaris, BSD... but work in the "free western world" demands the slumdog rathole of rustbucket WinDOZE which makes £$ but simply does not work: xp3 The nice "My Computer" is not allowed by my login to find out 64-/32-bit or else, but I have 2Gb of RAM, duo-core. Cor!! I like my Snow-Lep 8-core Mac Pro on the Harpertown 5400 to listen to iToonz.

Oh, I have SQL Server 2008 Dev edition. I THINK it can allow multiple user remote access, as my colleague tabletop let's me see it, with the same settings - allow multi.... is ticked somewhere in there.

Ooohh! Yes I let other users can see my DB - no problem. So why can't the even open the SSRS homepage I can open on local, but I can't even see MY homepage with MY login from elsewhere. Thanks Gates. Once Apple makes DB software for people, not geeks, such "security" will be radio button Yes/No. Rather the tiniest things currently require digging up the tree, making weeks of changes to its roots, burning the tree, and then sowing a new seed in the same earth, waiting 25 years for it to grow and be usable.

XP has a firewall and doesn't allow remote connections, hence the issue. You'll need to disable the firewall or add a custom rule to it.

It is being done for security reasons.
