| Hello Servers,I am facing a challenge here, hope you guys can rectify it. My configuration is: SQL Server 2008 (Enterprise Edi, Advanced) + VS 2008 BIDSWhen I am deploying my reports from BIDS, I can see my reports getting deployed to: http://<myservername>/reportserver. And I can VIEW my reports through Visual Studio. But when I am opening IE to view it: I am getting this:Reporting Services ErrorThe permissions granted to user 'global-PC\global' are insufficient for performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied) Get Online Help Also, I am logged in BIDS from ADMIN MODE . I think that is why I can see my reports in VS 2008, but not in IE. Can somebody explain it to me, what is going on here?CAN SOMEBODY HELP OUT, PLEASE! |

| You should not have to run BIDS "as admin". In report manager, it could be likely your userID(login) does not have permissions to reference the folder. It is also possible that the error means the user logged on to Report Manager does not have permission to access the data source.I have SQL Server 2008, a complete installation on my home pc.
