I have a complete install of SQL2008.
But the Surface Area Configuration Tool is missing....
any ideas how to enable it or make it appear?
I tried reinstalling, but says all features are already installed.

Since 2008 look for SQL Server configuration manager.

Right click on server name---> Click on facets ----> From drop down select "Sql Server Configuration", on the end list
