HI I was looking at improving the performance of an interactive app.
For 2 of the customers, it takes much longer to load their data, because of course they have more rows of data.

Is Service compression something that would help, and if so, how does one do this?
TIA,
AW

Service compression? Not sure what you're talking about here.

If you mean data compression, it's available in SQL Server 2008:

http://www.microsoft.com/sqlserver/2008/en/us/compression.aspx

It's only available in the Enterprise and DataCenter editions however. It may not help in loading your client's data however.
