Dear All,I am installing the SQL SERVER 2005 Enterprise Edition on New fresh server Windows 2003 server standard edition with SP2.Prcessor details:Six Core AMD Opteron(tm) with 4GB of RAM.And i have local admin to server will all privileges to install software.While installing i am selecting "Built in Syatem Account" as Local system..And i have selected for start services at the end of the setup as SQL AGENT AND SQL BROWSER,SQL SERVER.While selecting all the things and i will click on INSTALL I am getting the following error""THE SQL SERVER FAILED TO START.For more information see the books online topics,"How to view SQL server 2005 setup log files and starting sql serve rmanually"TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Setup------------------------------The SQL Server service failed to start. check the default windows locations like for eg: winxp--C:\windows\sqlstplogany querieskumar |
