Hello Team,

I took a backup of 100 databases on server A and will like to restore them to server B. Server B is on a different domain from server A. I have successfully transfered the backup to server B and using Management Studio to restore the database one at a time.

Is there a way to restore multiple databases at once? If yes, please assist with the instruction or direction. Basically, I need to restore about 100 databases and seems tedious doing it one at a time.

Generate a script to restore them - based on physical file names in the folder on Target server, or on the Source Server which will have Database Names and Backup filenames presumably. You'll also need to script the Logins and any Tasks / Jobs that you need to transfer.

Don't bump your thread (especially after only 30 minutes) - people here who are giving up their time will think you are a jerk and ignore your posts. If its urgent then pay Microsoft or a consultant for advice.

I would look at this:

Ive used this method and it works like a charm.

you'll first have to script out and then recreate your logins.. search for sp_help_revlogin
