we have a db that go to the size of 286GB.
we add a HD, and created a new logical name that belongs
to FileGroup :PRIMARY.
how can u manage that the data will be written to the new MDF file?

basically, you can explicitly place objects inthe filegroup you want.

can partition tables accross multiple filegroups too.
