 Backup clustered MSDTC share?

Probably a silly question, for which I apologise - I'm no SQL admin.

I need to configure backups on a Windows 2003/SQL Server 2005 MSCS cluster, and I'm trying to decide which clustered disks need to be backed up. One of the disks contains just the MSDTC log. Is this essentially transient data that doesn't need to be backed up, or should I include it?

Thanks.

Same here.

The server admins backup C/E, and then only the mount point for the SQL backups (native and Litespeed).
