Probably doesn't want his/her (new) boss to find out they're looking for books on how to be a DBA. Original title was "SQL DBA Books", first post was:

Hi all,

Can anyone suggest a good book with regard to SQL Server 2008 Administration for a junior DBA? Thanks!
Second post was:

Not what I'm looking for. Thanks for ur reply btw!

Thinking of buying SQL Server 2008 Administrator's Pocket Consultant by William R. Stanek. Do u know this one? If so, how is it?
Thank you!

Thanks. I was curious as to the context.

mrejto: There are lots of good dba books, however I would not suggest the pocket consultant for a junior DBA. It's great for someone who understands DBA work and just needs a reference book, it's not great if you're looking for the why and the when for the tasks.

Dear Gail,

Thanks for your reply and suggestion. I picked up one and I'm happy with that - didn't want to waste members' time anymore.

@robvolk
What boss? Are you OK?
