I have the default instance and 1 named instance.

Both bound to a separte IP address.

Both configured to use port 1433.

Any downsides or issues with this configuration?

I didn't think you COULD use the same port

Its working, since its bound to a separate IP I didnt see why it would be an issue. Thought I would ask here though, as ive never ran multiple instances on the same box before.
