Hi,I am trying to install the SQL Server 2008 R2 (the Avaluation version). There is a problem at the end of installation - an error message;"The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion".afterwords there is another simillar error message.I can see at the services list that only that the problem is with the Analysis service which indeed can not be started.I had a former installation of sql server 2005 which I removed before this installtion.I have tried to install it both in SP2 and SP3 enviornment - same results.you can see a part of the summary installation log and my Machine Properties at the end of this problem description.I would glad to have a solution for that. Thanks,Guyyou can see a part of the summary installation and my Machine Properties log:Overall summary: Final result: SQL Server installation failed.
