| Hi, Can any one explain how to create second instance in sql server 2008 r2, and what prerequisites i want to see. If any explain in steps it will be useful.Many thanks in advance |

| Get out the installation DVD and run the installer. Part way through you'll be able to specify the instance name. It's the same as installing the default instance, same steps, same requirements.--Gail ShawSQL Server MVP |
