Has anyone ever? I believe this is next on their agenda...

PS - Tendulkar is truly great - he'd probably even get selected in the squad if he was an aussie!!!

From http://www.m-w.com/ , entry "cricket":

Main Entry: 1 crick·et
Pronunciation: 'kri-k&t
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English criket, from Middle French criquet, of imitative origin
Date: 14th century
1 : any of a family (Gryllidae) of leaping orthopteran insects noted for the chirping notes produced by the male by rubbing together specially modified parts of the forewings
2 : a low wooden footstool
3 : a small metal toy or signaling device that makes a sharp click or snap when pressed

My only guess graz is that they have some kind of insect rodeos or something where they name their bugs and score them on something...maybe on how loud they chirp, I don't know...

Wait...players...chirping...maybe it's a musical thing! Yeah! It's an insect music competition!

Enslaving insects for personal amusement...I guess this is what happens when you're a British colony for too long...

...and I bet you thought we only had big crocodiles down under...

just think baseball, replace the ball with a rock, give the pitcher a run-up, and give him something to aim at rather than the batsman, with only 2 bases, home runs are called "six", oh - and the bowler is allowed to rub his scrotum on international TV uninhibited....

whatagame!
