Hi,

I have used SQL Server on and off, but currently acting as a DBA. I have creaed a replacment database, but need to copy the users and permissions from the previous.

Can anyone explain how to do, or where to look.

I spent most of this afternoon reading scripts etc, but seem to be above me at this point :o)

Do you have management Studio?

You can script the users from there

I have tried that, it creates the users, but doesnt give them the access they had before, its blank.
