Hi Team,
i need to upgrade my sql server 2008 R2 from RTM to SP1. do i need to install in both the nodes? in 2005, i need to install in active node only. can you please clarify....

and i tried to download 2008R2 sp1. but i'm getting links only for 2008Sp1. is both are same? if not can someone please provide me some link to download 2008R2 SP1

In 2005, you should have installed on both nodes too to update the non-cluster aware components.

There is no SP1 for SQL2k8 R2 at this time, except as a CTP which you probably do NOT want to install on production. You can't install SQL2k8 R1 SP1 onto SQL2k8 R2.
