SQL-ExpressWindows 7 on i3 laptop.I think I have SSRS installed - I think. The configuration manager comes up, and connects. My laptop is named "Oak" I bring up a browser, and enter this in the URL (or I click on this URL in "Web Services URL"):http://OAK:80/ReportServer_SQLEXPRESSThis is the URL that I find in the Reporting Services Configuration Manager, under "Web Services URL." I have also tried all sorts of variations. Nothing even begins to work. I just get a "webpage cannot be found error."As I understand it, I do not need IIS installed, and probably should not have IIS, or Apache, installed. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa364698.aspxHTTP.sys is on my system, but nothing seems to work. |

I think have solved part of the problem. For some bizarre reason, this defaults to the only port you cannot use - 80. In the "Web Service URL" I changed port 80 to 8080, and I no longer get the "webpage cannot be found" error. But now I am prompted for a log in and password - WTF? |
