It compresses 42.609340934589 percent!Not really. It is a vague question. It's like asking "Will I win the lottery this week?".It depends on your data of course! It depends if you already have enabled row or page compression. It depends if you are using unicode data, or mostly integers/decimals or text.Why don't you take a backup and test? I manage a small datawarehouse of 150GB. After enabling Page compression, the data file shrunk to 30GB.After backup with compression enabled, the backup file is 17 GB. N 56°04'39.26"E 12°55'05.63" |
