 How to see actual job being run

With the sql server jobs that are run, how can you see the actual code that is being run? I am unable to see which database is getting updated.

Well you can check the job step, run a trace, or use dbcc inputbuffer(spidNo). There are DMV's you can query too. Lots of ways to see the information.
