| Does anyone have this book?I am working on a problem very similar to the classic bin packing problem or knapsack problem. I think Joe discusses this in the book, but I am unable to get a reply from him via email and my local bookstores don't have the book on the shelf.I'm not looking to get the contents of the book for free; I am certainly willing to buy it and support Mr. Celko. I just want to know if the bin packing problem is covered.Jay White{0} |

| Well, I just up and bought the book from Amazon, and if you don't mind waiting about a week I'll let you know for sure, but I don't see why you don't just buy it...you'll love it. And if you don't have SQL for Smarties you should get that too.Check out all of the reviews for it on Amazon, Ken Henderson gave it 5 stars, that's more than enough for me, bin packing or not. |
