| It's amazing to fathom how many lives the ideas of Dr. Codd have touched. History books focus on religious leaders, scientific leaders, writers, medical research - people who have affected lives in radical ways or shifted vast numbers of people to new ways of thinking. I wonder where Dr. Codd will figure into history?RDMS launched a revolution in data analysis, affecting countless lives - for every SQL developer there are thousands of end users. It seems the social and technoligical impact is about as far-reaching as can be.It is interesting to contemplate where the PC / Internet might be without RDMS.
