It's handy to browse through other forums occasionally to see if anything interesting is happenning and to find other ways of doing things (or what to avoid). If everyone just used this forum we would miss a lot.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |

Thanks! One of my goals when I created the site was to provide a place where smart people could share ideas. I'm glad it seems to be working!===============================================Creating tomorrow's legacy systems today. One crisis at a time. |

I used to post at:swynk.comusenetsqlpassdevelopersdex (also Usenet)but then I realized that I was wasting time posting in places other then SQLTeam. Besides for the great people replying here, who really know their stuff, the response time here is superior to any forum I've tried. It probably helps that SQLTeam has such a global team, so no matter at what time you post, chances are someone'll be around to see it.Sarah Berger MCSD |

Yep, Gotta say I agree. I typically post here and here only for any SQL issues I got and have always had a quick response and usually more than 1 that advances my knowledge of SQL. |
