What happened to Rob's SQL pimp custom title ?
It was much more apt than his current one

Perhaps we should have a vote or something ?

After a few SQL team people became Microsoft MVPs we thought we should create a title just for that.

Hence : Microsoft MVP and SQLTeam MVY

How about

Professional In Microsoft's Pocket

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.

Wouldn't that be nice.

Do Microsoft MVPs receive any payment from Microsoft?
No. Microsoft does provide a small award of software, but MVPs do not receive any monetary payment from the Microsoft MVP Program.

Oops - just read this too.

What does Microsoft expect of its MVPs?
Because the MVP Award is an award-based program whose criteria are based on past contributions, Microsoft has no expectations of MVPs beyond the expectations of courtesy, professionalism, and adherence to the community rules that we ask of all Microsoft community members.
