I'm trying to think of a good overdue library book joke, and discovered there aren't any. BUT...if one were to be made, it would be something like:

That book is almost as overdue as Bill Graziano's MVP nomination!

Only it would actually be funny.

CONGRATS GRAZ!!!

moi pozdravleniya!!

PS In case of my sudden death I ask you all
to consider me as a MVP for SQL Server In Potentia....

PPS I really would like to know: origin of the MVP abbreviation.
Was it borrowed from the sport (Most Valuable Player)? Or did
it always stand for Most Valuable Professional? TIA, Tara.

There once lived a poor SQL farmer
Who toiled hard in his fields, awaiting karma
He ripped and he sowed
Planting precious beans of SQL code
and expecting no life changing drama

But one day, he looked out his door
And noticed one plant had grown very much more
It was bigger than the rest
(He was sure he was blessed)
For it was the biggest script that he ever saw

He ran to the base of this tree
And pulled himself up it with glee
And he wondered aloud
"its higher than the cloud!
I wonder what it has in store for me?!"

But alas, when he got to the top
And his panting and sweating had stopped
And enormous great giant
Called "Being Microsoft Compliant"
Was standing there holding his mop (well you try rhyming with "top"!)

"Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum!", was his cry
And his voice was harsh (and all dry)
"The blood I can smell
Reminds me of SQL!"
And he looked down at Bill with one eye

But Bill was completely unfazed
not surprised or even slightly amazed
He just recoded his view
(It's a simple thing to do)
And the giant was small, and now dazed

Bill found the Giant's MVP
And he grabbed it up quickly in glee
He slid down the trunk
Of this complete load of bunk
And lived ever after and quite happily!

Congratulations Grazzo!

Wow! I hardly know what to say! If I'd known there was an epic poem involved I'd have tried to become an MVP years ago! That's just so cool! I'm just completely blown away. Wow.
