Allright, I realize that I do show some nerve mouthing off about skiing/boarding skills to the OG sqlteamsters here but I thaught it to be a nice phrase just to get your attention  The case is that skiing/boarding has always been an important part og my life and just to get you aussies (how'bout that rugby-match by the way...hehe...me beeing almost half-english and all) to get a grip of what us people from the northern hemisphere are talking about I just uploaded a few images from my last trip to France, no sharks or nuttin' here -> [url]http://home.frisurf.no/~henningf/index.cfm[/url] (no, I did not make the interface)And I hope you guys don't find this to be offencive or anything me beeing a total rookie and all in this very fine forum of yours. | Those pics are cool. Where I go, you'll see a lot of brown in the picture as it doesn't get cold enough during the day for the mountains that are facing the sun to keep the snow on them.Even with my injuries, I'll be heading back up to the mountains on the 21st. Pain isn't gonna stop me. After all, the winter season is short in Southern California, so gotta go as often as I can before the snow melts away.Tara |

| Me beeing a norwegian and all I gotta say it totally bites to be in England all winter. We have some decent places to ski but there is really nothing that compares to the Alpes. Been there 4-5 times and it rocks! But as long as you can get out there and feel the cold snow under the board then it's all good. | Brett, you should actually fly to Chile! I hear white ski-instructors are in short demand (umh, are you white...??) and the girls down there are just awesome. For some reason I have always loved south american women...I should go myself but then I would have to leave the guys behind and I don't want that...skiing in the south american alps is supposed to be awseome but I haven't been there so I really can't tell..--Lumbago"Real programmers don't document, if it was hard to write it should be hard to understand" |

OK....I'm not gonna touch that with a 10 ft pole.....but I like the jive..Jelly....Jealous...I'm/was jealous...then I decided to pack the 5 of us into the van at 6:00 am and hit the poconos on Saturday....hey 600ft.....lots of lift riding....pretty views of the leigh river thoughBut I was teaching to the kids most of the day...Hey with that vertical, you gotta crank out the turns...Pond Hockey Sunday and Monday with the young bucks....damn I need a masseuseHey held my own....just can't move now....Brett8-)EDIT: Still jealous of the Brekenridge thing. Cost a bunch to fly the family...damn... |
