I just finished finding an error that has plagued me for 3 weeks. Your going to love this!In order to reduce entry errors I created barcodes on all tickets and tags. These are used when ever an employee need to access data on a job or start data collection on a manufacturing machine. Before this entry errors made the system almost useless as most of the personnel are not well educated and have problems with directions. (Ok they are for the most part stupid as a stump but I am trying to be nice)For these 3 weeks I had an old job that kept having data applied to it on night shift, as the entry requires a barcode reader. I could not figure out what an individual was reading that would call up this job as the ticket was closed over a year ago. Turns out that the individual was reading the example from my own PDF help file on screen. I had taken a photo of an actual job ticket to use as an example and the reproduction was good enough for the reader to scan. JimUsers <> Logic |
