David's (aka byrmol) wife gave birth to a baby girl, Piper Louise, on Saturday. Piper was so anxious to come into this world that she was delivered by David on the kitchen floor - 15 minutes from contractions to birth .Let's all send our best wishes to the Moloney family.Congrats David!Got any pictures for us?Tara |

Thank you Tara!I have a few pictures, but she is still in the "alien" stage. When she grows into her skin, I'll send some pix out. This is our 3rd child so I suppose I am a bit of an old hand.. but I was NOT ready to do the delivery myself!Blood, amniotic fluid, tears and screams...what a rush! Thoroughly recommended for all those who are a bit bored with life. Both are doing extremely well and are back home.DavidM"Always pre-heat the oven" |

Congratulations Dave. I'm with Graz on this one. After reading your rather descriptive post, I'm feeling ill. (grin) Now, get that kid posting. :)MeanOldDBAderrickleggett@hotmail.comWhen life gives you a lemon, fire the DBA. |

Thanks Damian, Mark and Graz...Somehow I managed to hold it together.. Some primal instinct just took over.. "Must...not...drop..baby..." It's just a blur now... I think this is the start of a repressed memory -:)DavidM"Always pre-heat the oven" |

WOW! Congrat's David!Tell your wife to call me... How'd she do that? 15 minutes!... Whoa!My first labor was 36 hours, my second one 24 hours But maybe still beats giving birth on the kitchen floor I heard of a similar story, 'xcept the woman called an ambulance, and when they arrived, they had to treat the husband first because he was in a dead faint.
