Would have been a better choice of names.....

Bonnie and Charley?

I go on vay kay, and I get 2 for the price of 1....Bonnie was nothing...

chuck ran right over us....

Absolutley amazing.....

Only natural disasters we get in Jersey are our politicians.....

Must be some kind of american humour - I don't understand a single word you said - oh, except for "Brett"

Rob! I'd have thought the SQLTeam Poet Laureate would have a broader base of knowledge to pull from... Let's see if I can help you out...

Bonnie & Clyde are a reference to a "notoriously violent bank robbing couple" and also a movie about them

Bonnie & Charley are the names of two hurricanes that hit the state of Florida a few weeks ago.

vay kay is a phonetic spelling for vaca which is short for vacation

and the comment about Jersey politicians is no doubt related to the Governor of the state of New Jersey who recently announced he would be stepping down (after it's too late to elect a replacement this year) while confessing to cheating on his wife with another man.

I guess you're right, a lot of that is American humor...

Well, you know what happens when you make an assumption - you make an ass out of you and umption...

Unfortunately, I've been at an Army base in the jungles of far North Queensland, and didn't hear any news - especially not about the hurricanes. Hope not too many people got hurt. I figured "vay kay" but it was more fun to act dumb... As for the governor - republican or democrat? Much more fun if it was a republican I guess... Oh yeah, and my firewall wouldn't let me watch the video!

But thanks for pulling it all together -

(what was that quote from Twister?)....

"when you said you chased tornados, I thought you were talking about your sex life..."

(or something)

So THAT's where you've been. Welcome back!

Ha! Democrat.

Not to be too depressing, but Cliff is dead.

If Francis really hits Florida, sending help will be even more important.

Oh well, hardly even surprising in that case!
