I say sequel.

There was a project manager at my last company that put in documentation: Sequel Server. I laughed every time I saw it. I think eventually we told him.

I liked the original better. The sequel is never as good.

OK, a better question...

How many of your developers don't know how to spell S-Q-L?

One of my near shore "resources" was asking what the difference between a JOIN and an OUTER JOIN was....

Thank god they out sourced...Now I can train at greater distances...

Or is that train wreck?

hmmm a diff between join and outer join... hmmmm...
isn't it like that that the outer join goes outside of the server gets the data from the txt file and comes back into the server?????

You know, this could be fun, if I don't put anything in writing...

I could create a new version of BOL

1. Make sure all queries do a full tablescan
2. Only use Dynamic SQL
3. Use IDENTITY Columns Every where. Beter yet, use only 1 table...which we all know is the most effecient

Field name
Datatype
Size
FieldValue
ParentId

What else?

you guys are hilarious!

hmm..never thought this part of the site is where all the fun is, our guys here pronounce it as es-que-el, when i say sequel, they look at me like i'm from a different planet. and when they phone me and ask for guidance on how to do some stuff on the server, i have to say es-que-el (really really slow so they could catch the letters)
