I wonder if having a really good chair improves development? Lines of code go up, bugs go down. It's possible. It's hard (for me) to really decide if a chair is right if I sit in it for only 5 minutes tops. I've got to sit in a chair for a few days to know how well it works.I tried this chair the other day, and it seems like it might be really good, or completely maddening after a few days. Any recommendations out there? Anyone got a really impressive chair to recommend? One that facilitates good, reliable .NET/SQL ?Sam |

I'd like everyone to post a code productivity factor and type of chair. Especially Nigel. |

BTW, I found one forum thread that seemed to think the Bungee High Back chair for $230 was every bit as comfey as the Aeron for $800, and less "abrasive" whatever that means. Also, there are a lot of Aerons on eBay for way under the list price (if anyone is interested). I've got to spend 5 minutes in an Aeron before deciding. |

Problem with reclining - I'd like the monitor suspended from the ceiling and a trackball glued to the right armrest. Not sure about the keyboard. Is this a massaging recliner? |

Not a massaging one, just an old, comfortable recliner. I've spent quite a bit of time in Aeron chairs in our production room. They are okay. I find them or any chair like them to be a little stiff.Tara |

They do look stiff. Don't know if high-tech will ever replace leather or fabric. |

well i must say they're not stiff a bit... you just need to set it to your liking.Aeron's aren't for more than 1 person to sit on.Go with the flow & have fun! Else fight the flow |

Not stiff compared to a stuffed leather chair? |

When I say stiff I'm referring to the material. I've certainly configured it to my liking, still stiff material. Not sure why more than one person would be in it at work. Tara |

I've just got a car with leather seats and I love them. As for my work chair it's a bit unusual but I quite like it, they convinced me it was ergonomic! Being rather tall it's difficult to find a chair that's really comfortable. steveTo alcohol ! The cause of - and solution to - all of life's problems |
