OK I think this may be overdue (apologies to Jen and any others who may not be interested)

Alcohol - a subject near to my heart as you may gues from my sig.

Favourite cocktail recipes please

My most recent one is based on the discovery that a good martini isn't disgusting after all so this is my version of a vesper (the classic James Bond Martini and my favourite so far)

1/2 measure of dry Martini
2 measure of London Gin
6 measures of vodka
3 stuffed green olives on a cocktail stick

Shaken not stirred ;-)

Perfect - I can taste it now.....

I thought a Dry martini was:

Open Martin bottle facing the South of France.
Replace cap.
Add gin to glass.

Kristen, why open the bottle (even if it is facing France)? I understand Churchill merely glanced at it across the room. Who am I to argue with the likes of him

no, not a joke, from where i come from, we don't prepare this for christmas (right?). and i'm just curious how this taste.

and it is alcoholic right (i think it's rum). And I bet you have your own special recipe.

just for fun http://www.indepthinfo.com/eggnog/index.shtml, ouch and some brandy too!

do you think i will be able to handle this concoction?
